Rules & Regulations of Vanitha Miss Kerala
By submitting their application to Participate in the Vanitha Miss Kerala Pageant, the Applicant agrees to abide by all rules & regulations described hereunder, as may be changed from time to time by MM Publications Ltd.
The Applicant must be between the age of 18 years to 25 years while participating in Vanitha Miss Kerala. The applicant shall submit the age proof (Passport, birth certificate, school leaving certificate, driver’s license, etc.) whenever required.
Both parents or at least one of the parents of the Applicant should be a Malayalee.
The Applicant confirms that, at the time of participating in the Vanitha Miss Kerala Pageant, she is unmarried and not engaged to be married. Should the Applicant be selected as the title winner, the Applicant further agrees to maintain this status for a year or until the successor is crowned, whichever is earlier.
Employees or relatives of employees of MM Publications Ltd, Sponsors or Event Partners of the Vanitha Miss Kerala event are not eligible to participate in the contest.
The Applicants must be in good health and free from any physical or mental condition that may impair her ability to participate in the pageant.
The Applicant confirms that she is not bound by any commercial contract with a modeling agency or similar entity at the time of auditioning for the pageant. Should the Applicant be shortlisted, she agrees not to enter into any commercial contracts with any modelling agency or similar entity for the duration of her participation in the pageant, unless with the prior written consent of MM Publications Ltd.
Applicants must not hold any conflicting titles or be under contract with any other pageants or talent agencies unless permitted by MM Publications Ltd. The Applicant confirms that she is not currently, nor will be become, a party to any contract - written or verbal - with any person, firm, business, Public Relations Firm, publicist, charity or corporation in respect to any present title that she holds or may hold, nor does she have any commitments for the future regarding any such titles.
All applicants are expected to conduct themselves with professionalism and integrity, adhering to the MM Publications Ltd’s guidelines.
All Applicants must participate in a disciplined and diligent manner throughout the schedule of the Beauty Pageant.
All Applicants must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulation.
The Applicant affirms that she has not previously engaged, nor will she engage during her reign, in any photography, video, or film work involving nudity or pornography. The Applicant further confirms that she has not been, nor is she currently, involved in any form of employment that includes partial or complete nudity.
Applicant understands and agrees that any misconduct, negative innuendos or misrepresentation of themselves or other participants, through any form, be it oral, written and/or by actions, will be grounds for disqualification, without any question. Submission of incorrect or falsified information may also result in disqualification, whether discovered prior to, during or after participation.
Involvement in illegal activities, public intoxication, and other inappropriate behavior are strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification
Applicant agrees to follow any social media guidelines that MM Publications Ltd may prescribe and avoid any posts that could harm the reputation of the pageant or its sponsors.
MM Publications Ltd reserves the right to disqualify Applicants for failure to comply with these regulations or for behavior deemed inappropriate.
All Applicants participating in Vanitha Miss Kerala should have public social media accounts.
By participating in the Pageant, the Applicant agrees that she will promote the products/services of the Sponsors of the Pageant as and when and in the manner requested by MM Publications Ltd.
The Applicant agrees and undertakes to pay a registration fee (as may be fixed by MM Publications Ltd from time to time) at the time of registration for participation in the Vanitha Miss Kerala Pageant.
The Applicant also agrees and undertakes to pay additional fees after getting shortlisted through audition including grooming, hotel (with roommate), food, crown & banner for the duration of the event.)
The Applicant agrees that any personal expenses of the Applicant for participating in the Pageant, including airfare, travel, accommodation, wardrobe(including costumes and accessories), , grooming, training, & other miscellaneous charges in respect of the Auditions, Regional Rounds and Grand Finale of the Pageant shall be borne solely by the Applicant.
The Applicant shall not be entitled to a refund – whether in whole or in part - of any fees already paid to the organizers of the Vanitha Miss Kerala Pageant under any circumstances, which includes, but is not limited to entry fees, advertising fees, application fees, program book ads, pageant admission tickets, grooming fee, sales fees, guest meal fees, extra event fees, crown and sash fees, special award fees, and any other fees paid to MM Publications Ltd or Vanitha Miss Kerala Pageant by anyone including, but not limited to Applicant, Sponsors, Advertisers, and Family Members of Applicant.
The Winner of Vanitha Miss Kerala Beauty Pageant (“Titleholder”) shall continue to hold the said title for a year or until her successor is crowned, whichever is earlier.
If the Applicant is selected as the Titleholder, she agrees to adhere to any additional terms and conditions set forth by MM Publications Ltd, which may include participation in media appearances, promotional activities, and official events.
The Titleholder is expected to uphold the values and reputation of the pageant at all times, abiding by standards of conduct as defined by MM Publications Ltd.
If the Applicant is selected as the Titleholder, the Applicant confirms and agrees that for a period of one year from being crowned as the Titleholder, her professional affairs as the Titleholder will be under the sole management of MM Publications Ltd or its licensees and that she will not give any written or oral endorsements without the express written permission of MM Publications Ltd.
Applicant understand and agrees that if she is selected as the Titleholder , any appearances as the Titleholder in Social Media for any promotions of the Event, endorsements of Brands or testimonials, speaking engagements, acting roles in any Ad Films produced by Event Team shall belong to MM Publications Ltd and MM Publications Ltd shall be entitled to promote the same as per the requirements of MM Publications Ltd.
Titleholder agrees that during the period that she is a Titleholder, the approval of MM Publications Ltd will be required for all promotional appearances or Brand endorsements on any media platform whether it is on Print Media, Television and Broadcasting , OTT, Radio broadcasting, online media or Social Media, etc
Crowns and sashes remain the property of the MM Publications Ltd or Vanitha Miss Kerala Pageant. Any Applicant that defaults on her contract must return all prizes, crown and sash to the office of MM Publications Ltd in the condition in which it was received.
During their reign, all Titleholders agree to be loyal to MM Publications Ltd & Vanitha Miss Kerala Pageant. The Titleholder agrees not to spread misinformation, create miscommunication, or otherwise detract from the Pageant’s reputation, process, or promotion in any medium(including social media and messaging platforms). The Titleholder undertakes to refrain from any actions that may negatively impact or hinder the Pageant or its proceedings.Titleholder will not promote verbally, in writing, or on any social media any other pageant title(s) or pageant system(s).
The Titleholder may be required to attend official events, appearances, and other activities organized by MM Publications Ltd or associated with the Pageant. Non-compliance with this requirement may lead to the forfeiture of the title or other consequences as determined by MM Publications Ltd.
By participating, Applicant grants MM Publications Ltd the right to use her images, names, and likenesses in any media in relation to the promotional activities of MM Publications Ltd, without further consent or compensation.
Any intellectual property related to the Pageant, including logos, content, and promotional materials, photographs and videos remain the exclusive property of MM Publications Ltd.
MM Publication shall have the absolute and perpetual right to use, distribute, publish or commercialize at its own discretion, any information collected from the Participants and any photographs, videos or other works created in relation to the Pageant and containing the name and/or likeness of the Applicant.
The Applicant consents to MM Publications Ltd carrying out background checks as part of the application process including personal and professional background, character, work history, awards, and qualifications.
MM Publications Ltd will not be held liable for any injuries, losses, or damages suffered by applicants during the pageant or on account of their participation in the event. The Applicant will participate at her own risk.
Applicant hereby agrees to release, unconditionally and forever, any claim against MM Publications Ltd or Vanitha Miss Kerala Pageant its parent and affiliated or related companies and their respective officers, sponsors, directors, partners, volunteers, employees, agents and assigns, which they may have by virtue of the Applicant’s participation in the Pageant, or by any use of the Applicant’s name, likeness, voice, and/or biography in connection with the Pageant, including use in promotional and advertising material.
The organizers are not responsible for any delays or non-receipt of applications on any account and for any reason whatsoever.
Only the applicant will be allowed inside the designated venue of the preliminaries. No family or companions will be permitted in the changing areas the during the any rounds of the event.
The schedule of events and qualification rounds are subject to change at the discretion of MM Publications Ltd. The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the event schedule, venues, or requirements at any time and without prior notice.
MM Publications Ltd will fulfill the awards and prizes as it may announce in respect of the event. However, MM Publications will not be responsible for the fulfillment of any commitments or promises made by the Sponsors on their own.
The Applicant hereby consents to MM Publications Ltd using and disclosing the Applicant’s name, contact information, and social media profiles for any promotional activity of MM Publications Ltd, at its sole discretion.
The Applicant agrees that in the event, MM Publications Ltd determines her as ineligible/disqualified to participate in the Pageant, she will not be allowed to further compete in the Vanitha Miss Kerala Pageant and will not be entitled to any refund whatsoever.
MM Publication Ltd is not responsible for non-completion / non-occurrence of the Pageant. In the event of any dispute, the organizer’s decision shall be final and binding on the Applicant. The organizers have all the right to cancel, reschedule, postpone, and amend the Pageant.
The Deadline for accepting registrations for participation in the Pageant shall be determined by the number of entries received by MM Publications Ltd.
The decision of the Jury/Judges are final.
The courts of Kochi will have the jurisdiction over all disputes relating to, arising from, or touching upon this Agreement, to the exclusion of all other courts that may otherwise have had jurisdiction.
